Join us for a 1-day deep dive into Kodaly teaching, resources, dances, and more with Melissa Stouffer & Zach VanderGraaff.

The workshop is located at Chenery Auditorium in Kalamazoo.

Melissa Stouffer is a music teacher in Michigan. She has taught infants through middle school general music, elementary and middle school choir as well as a middle school band program which she founded while teaching on a cart. She has a BS in Psychology and BME in Music Education from Central Michigan University and is Kodály certified. She serves as the President of the Michigan Kodály Educators, the MMC Planning Committee representative for the Michigan Music Educators Association, the Midwest 1 Representative for OAKE, the APR committee Chair for OAKE as well as the OAKE National Conference Marketing Chair. She is a frequent presenter and the creator and author of www.mrsstouffersmusicroom.com.
Zach taught K-5 Music across Michigan schools since 2010 and is currently the K-4 Music Teacher at Frankenmuth Public Schools. He earned his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Music Education from Central Michigan University. Zach completed his Kodaly Certification through Level III through Indiana University with help from OAKE’s Jeno Adam Scholarship.
