About the presenter: Dr. Allen serves as Division Chair for Music Education and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in music education, conducts the University Singers, and supervises student teachers. She received her Doctorate in Philosophy from The University of Kansas and her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Education from The University of Oklahoma. Other pedagogical training includes Kodály training and certification in levels 1, 2, and 3 at The University of Oklahoma. Her research interests include teacher stress, job satisfaction, mental health, and other areas related to healthy, happy music teaching.
